A WORD FOR YOU – PRAISE

The tabernacle or temple was not originally designed for the purpose of preaching or giving out information to the congregation. On the contrary, it was primarily a place for offering and receiving sacrifices.

In the New Testament, the scripture tells us in 1Peter 2:5 that “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”

God called us to offer spiritual sacrifices with the fruit of our lips; giving thanks and offering sacrifices of praise to His name.

The worship in the house of God should not be a mere moment of demonstration or displaying of talents with possible intents of personal gains. As Pastors, do not allow it or give your platforms for such. Everything should be done in honor of Jesus and for the glory of His name.

Praise the Lord in music, sing new songs unto Him; because when you give time to praising God, you would see the glory of God manifest with testimonies abounding in your life and ministry like never before.
